Description: Male Lion, "Logol" dispatches a hyena

Story from behind the lens: We were photographing the Marsh Pride during an afternoon rain storm when one of the lionesses caught a hyena that had wandered too close to the cubs. Halftail and Logol came running in to protect the pride and this frame is just before Logol passed final judgement of death on the hyena.
