Description: A beautiful young lioness with two very young cubs reaches in to pick up one, while the other stays between her legs.

Story from behind the lens: We had the pleasure of watching this lioness for a while early one morning as she moved through the grass with her sister. She would frequently have to pick one up to keep them moving. This was the first time I had been able to capture this kind of behavior up close and was a nice sighting for our final day in the Mara.
