Description: The Mara River was drying up as the rains had failed in the Mara. Thus all the cat fish were huddled up in a shallow pool. The African fish eagles were fighting to win the access to fish.
Story from behind the lens: The cat fish could be seen easily because of the shallow levels in the river. This attracted the African Fish eagles and I was lucky to witness a mid air fight for supremacy. With the telephoto lens the birds were not disturbed and I was happily clicking away from the land rover which acted as a hide.
