Story from behind the lens: The Masaai sees themselves the custodians of all the cattle in the world. In the Mara ecosystem this can lead to human wild conflict - an all to real problem the people on the ground is facing more and more so every day. In this photo I wanted to convey the message we are one - no difference between the Masaai and the cattle. The paradox comes in with the divide between the young and older generation - the younger generation thinking more what is best for all animals, the older generation still wanting to manage the conflict by spear ....
