Description: Tusker silhouette in the Maasai Mara at sunset

Story from behind the lens: We were going to stop for sundowners when we spotted a big bull tusker heading south across the plains. We immediately moved into a position so that we would have visibility of the big male and the beautiful sunset. As we settled into our position, I composed the photo so that I could capture two of the most iconic African classics in one shot - a stunning sunset and a majestic elephant. "Tusks at Dusk" captures the essence of another day ending for the spectacular animals in the Maasai Mara while also encompassing the sheer natural beauty of this vast Kenyan savanna
