Description: Tira, the worlds most famous zebra, poses near the Kenya/ Tanzania border

Story from behind the lens: For the week leading up to this image I'd seen a lot of photos on social media/ the world news about Tira. Desperate to see him for myself I went on a 7 hour round trip from Governors' down to the border to catch up with the migration. It was like looking for a needle in a very, very big haystack but Koros my guide and his trainee John were able to find him and we spent a happy five minutes watching him move along never further than a couple of meters from his mother. Good luck Tira!
