Description: One of the dominant males from the Topi pride in the first morning light

Story from behind the lens: My main goal this morning was to be able to photograph the males in the topi pride. The guide found two of the males and took us in the right position. On this trip I was doing a lot of photographing with long shutter speed and that was what I wanted. But I didn't just want the lion against a clear background. So, I took the aperture really to the deep to get some more structure and dept in the frame. Making it more interesting and give it more substance. The problem was the Iso getting very high, but I took the chance. One of the males was "rushing" in a properly speed. I waited a little to get the lion in the right position with some bushes in the background, and got just one shot before the lion was against a clear background again. But I got the shot!
