Story from behind the lens: In the crisp fresh morning air in the Maasai Mara, Kenya, as the lion awoke, so did the elephant. And for a split second, I managed to get both in one frame. They generally keep their distance from each other. I purposely used a wider aperture so as to blue out the elephant in the background.
