Description: One of Nashipae's subadults reluctantly gets up frrom his rest as rain starts to fall while the sunset light hits his eyes.

Story from behind the lens: This was my first time meeting the Cheetah Nashipae and her two sub-adults. It was late in the evening, our last stop and the light was beautiful as it illuminated the cheetahs eyes. The rain came though, and one of the cubs made a face as he got up and all three of them harbored under some long grass. What a great way to begin our 2021 time in the Mara.
