Story from behind the lens: This herd of elephants was moving at a slow pace in front of me and I could visualise that there was nothing in the image if shot with conventional settings. Hence I tried to make use of extreme motion blur by panning at ¼ sec. I managed to get what I desired with one elephant with some definition and the rest, a mass of blur. The grass and the dramatic sky have also turned into an aesthetic blur which I feel enhances the image as well.
