Description: The wildebeests carry heat from the scorching sun on their backs as they search for food and water. Birth is the beginning and death, the end. In between is the relentless journey of a wildebeest.

Story from behind the lens: A group of hundred wildebeests are making their way to the river to cross. There was something about the way they were following each other, determined to follow greener pastures. Over the past few days we had been watching them gather, growing their numbers. Their behaviour drew me in. I watched their movement and I wanted to capture the beautiful details of the herd and their movement.
