Description: Male lion enjoying his breakfast

Story from behind the lens: Early in the morning we were about to cross the river when suddenly in the riverbed we saw this male lion enjoying his breakfast. A large eland had not survived the night. The lion was enjoying but remained attentive to his surroundings and regularly looked in our direction. Moments later he moved his breakfast full speed up the bank.
