Description: Unhappy hamerkop trying to chase a leopard from its nest

Story from behind the lens: As we followed Sankuet along a lugga looking for a place to crash for the day, she spotted a comfy couch up a tree. As soon as she started to chill, a hamerkop objected vigorously at the misuse of its property. Though the sounds and the flapping of the wings were a clear sign what the hamerkop was intending, the leopard pleaded lost in translation. Ultimately the bird gave up and the leopard slept. Expertly guided by the telezoom eyed Johnson, undoubtedly the funniest guide in the Mara, while staying at Kicheche Valley Camp in Naboisho Conservancy.
