Description: Leopard taking a stroll on a full moon day

Story from behind the lens: We scheduled a safari to include a full moon day in Olare Orok conservancy. The challenge was to find a good photography spot and hope for wildlife to come across our path. It was a partly cloudy night and we chose to position the vehicle below a small short hill. Whenever the moon was not behind the clouds, the scene blossomed with beautiful moonlight. I took a few shots of the moon and the clouds, changing my settings to find what works best in well dispersed low light conditions. After about an hour or so, our patience paid off amazingly. We couldn't believe our luck, when we saw a leopard walking on the horizon heading towards the trees at the rear of the hill. We realised we will only get a few seconds to capture the leopard before the animal walked away and I was praying for the passing clouds not to cover the moon. I will always cherish this fabulous serendipitous moment.
