Lens: Tamron 70-200 f/2.8
Description: A Topi in the foreground and a barely visible impala in the distant background on a very beautiful misty morning.
Story from behind the lens: This was an incredibly beautiful misty morning. I had spent some time in the Mara and hadn’t experienced magical weather like this before. With my guide, Nick Yanko, we drove along swiftly looking for wildlife to photograph, before the mist disappeared. We then came across this solitary Topi, with a barely visible impala covered in mist in the background, and I was able to take this image. This was no doubt a very special and unique morning in the mist in the Mara.
