Description: Zebras and Wildebeests walk across an ash field, where the withered grass has been burned for regeneration.

Story from behind the lens: We have already heard, that as part of the Conservancy's Management Plan, certain areas of the Mara Ecosystem are burnt down each year. The fire shall be a useful tool to burn away the older grass and bush to stimulate a new flush of fresh grass. But to see it in real, it seems like a scene of an End times movie. Fascinating and somehow unreal.
