Story from behind the lens: Photography is my way of showing others what they may never see. Determined to find a special way of showing the affection often demonstrated between lions, I decided to attempt to do it in a simple silhouette. Andrew Kiio guided us well to Ole Kiombo, where two sub adult males from the large Topi pride were enjoying the sun rise across the beautiful Maasai Mara together. Expert positioning of the vehicle by Andrew allowed me to create a simple image that was full of emotion often demonstrated between siblings of the same pride.
