Story from behind the lens: August of 2022 was my third trip to Africa and my first to Kenya. Animals silhouetted by the setting sun was an image I hadn't captured yet and had always been a bucket-list shot for me.

A third trip and a stay in the Mara was the charm as everything lined up perfectly for this image. The incredible African sunset, the open plains of the Mara and two beautiful elephant perfectly positioned...a dream shot for me come true.
