Story from behind the lens: This photo was taken on our first day on safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. We started in the afternoon. It was about 5 pm when we spotted a pride of lions in a bush. When we came closer, this lioness was resting on the ground. In a few minutes, she woke up and started to make her impressive teeth show for us. That was the right time to capture this moment.
