Description: The Leopard patiently watches from the bushes as the wildebeest cross the river before chasing them into the laga.
Story from behind the lens: The female Leopard crouches patiently in the bushes watching the Wildebeest walk down to the water. As they start to cross she leaps from the bushes and jumps from rock to rock. She tries to isolate one but the herd is too tightly packed and the water spray distracts her. The Wildebeest panic, honking and start to stampede. The air is heavy with adrenalin and tension, not just from the Leopard and Wildebeest but from me as a photograph, wanting her to succeed and to capture this incredible moment.
