Description: A young lion cub gnawing on the mouth of a buffalo carcass in the late evening.

Story from behind the lens: We came across one of the black rock males with a female and her two cubs. They had taken down a buffalo sometime early in the morning and were resting close by it, protecting it from other predators. The two cubs started playing and climbed up on the carcass, using it as their playground. This little cub started biting the mouth of the buffalo, making it seem like it is giving it a kiss.
