Description: Zebra herd with only a few foals, this one was extra cute and shy.
Story from behind the lens: Zebra are one of my favorite animals. Any time I see them on drives I always ask to stop and scan the scene for unique perspectives. This foal caught my eye as it tried to peak over the mare's back. No matter the species, young ones always seem to have a playful approach to life. I was reminded of my own boys when they were little and always proclaiming to be getting bigger when the world seemed so large to them. This fuzzy little zebra was trying hard to get a better look without getting out from behind mom.
