Description: This young sub adult male could not believe his luck when a Hippo died coming out of the water. His eyes were bigger than his belly as he stripped the flesh from the face leaving a macabre skull.
Story from behind the lens: An injured Hippo died coming out of the water providing a Lion pride with a free meal. The Hippos body was covered in bloodied scratches, it looked like a map of its life. The sub adult males stripped the softer flesh from the head first leaving an ugly beautiful macabre skull on an untouched body.
