Story from behind the lens: We spent a day out with photographer Adam Bannister, following the cheetah Kisaru and her 2 cubs. We saw her enter a forest and drove around to the other side in the hope that she would start a chase when she emerged. That’s exactly what happened, as Kisaru exploded out of the grass, and successfully chased down a Grant’s Gazelle. This picture was taken when she was in full flight.
