Story from behind the lens: Giraffe are one of my favourite species to photograph & I am always looking for strong & different compositions that might work particularly well in black & white. As we were heading back to camp I saw a couple of giraffe & as we had quite a cloudy sky I thought this could be interesting if I was able to frame the head & neck in the clouds. We approached slowly & got close enough to use my 70-200 lens to frame the image how I had envisioned.
