Description: A leopard looking across the horizon post-kill

Story from behind the lens: On our first evening game drive, we came across this leopard resting on the crown of this Balanites, having successfully caught an impala which hung on a branch lower down. After probably thirty minutes of her just lying down, camouflaged from the hyenas trying to get her kill in between the leaves and the thorns of the tree, she finally perked up just as the sun was falling below the horizon to give this wonderful silhouette of her surveying the plains.
