Story from behind the lens: We were out on a night game drive in the Naibosho Conservancy, having known his location earlier in the evening, we retuned to find him out in the open, doing what lions do best, roaring as loud as possible. I patiently waited for all the other vehicles to leave to have no ambient light and set up my camera for a 10 second shutter on a beanbag, luck was surely with me!
