Description: Sunrise Balloon Safari over the Maasai Mara

Story from behind the lens: The tranquility of viewing the Maasai Mara from a hot air balloon is not something which can be explained if one has only been on the ground. The juxtaposition of the viewing the animals and landscape from above compared to in a safari vehicle is massive. The calm and silence of that morning is an experience I will not soon forget. The trip was extra special as we shared it with one of our guides, Sammy Ngotho, who up until that point had never experienced any kind of flight. The joy and wonder on his face made the morning all the more incredible.
