Description: The sun was just beginning to warm our faces after a cold, early start when our guide spotted this magnificent black rhino ambling across the golden plains.
Story from behind the lens: Black rhino are not common in the Maasai Mara and indeed it was my first ever sighting. He looked particularly striking against such rich and golden light and we were lucky enough to be able to follow him, at great distance, for around an hour.
