Description: We were delighted to come across a black rhino early one morning in the most beautiful golden light.

Story from behind the lens: It was my first ever sighting of this species and I appreciated every moment that we spent just observing him make his way through the tall grass. He was at quite a distance and moving away in the other direction but it was a privilege to see, given that there are so few in the reserve. I like the energy brought to the image by the fluttering birds around him.
