Description: Lions from the topi pride watch on a buffalo (possible prey) in the near the Rhino Ridge in Maasai Mara.

Story from behind the lens: The Topi pride, alert in the rain - all heads in one direction. Makes me wonder if they are internally strategizing and if they have an innate ability to communicate without looking at each other. And the buffalo averts its gaze from the pride towards others spectators present. Feeding a pride of this size (about 22 lions) is not easy feat, how will they take on the buffalo?
