Description: Action scene of a mating pair of lions

Story from behind the lens: We were spending time with a cheetah family in Naboisho when our guide got a call about a mating pair of lions. We decided to rush to the scene. We spent more than an hour and the lions mated thrice mostly hidden in the shrubs.; except for once when they came out in the open giving me a unique opportunity to capture the action. This image shows the expression on the lions faces when the male lion leaps off after mating. The male lion, this time, successfully avoided the usual blow from the lioness.
