Story from behind the lens: In the Naboisho Conservancy, our guide Kimberly ensured that we got a lion's share of big cat sightings (pun intended). One morning, we tracked this male lion as he traversed the savannah, making sure our jeep was positioned just right to capture the rugged details on his battle-scarred face. It was a deliberate effort to maintain a good angle, following him across the terrain. Our goal was to document his fierce and weathered appearance as he went about his journey to find a resting place for the day. It was an engaging task, focusing on preserving his unadorned, untamed character through the camera lens.
