Description: Faulu's cautious and focused descent just before a successful hunt.
Story from behind the lens: We got news that a leopard had been spotted on a tree not far from where we were. Getting there we saw it was young Faulu. She was using her position on this lone tree in the middle of the grasslands to scan the area for her next meal. After over an hour, she started her cautious descent down the tree, remaining focused throughout her descent on something in the distance. It was at this moment I realized just how well she blended in, almost one with the tree. She had spotted a mongoose and it was amazing to watch her successful hunt thereafter.
