Description: A leopard jumping down from a tree, mid-air with its feet pushing off the trunk of the tree.
Story from behind the lens: We hadn't dared to hope that we would come across a leopard in our short trip to the Maasi Mara, but on the second to last day we caught sight of this beautiful creature. At first it hid up in the shade of the tree and when it eventually came racing down we almost missed it. I barely captured this moment but remain ever grateful to our guide who made us wait so patiently for the leopard to come down, it was worth every cramp my hands suffered from in the next few days.
