Story from behind the lens: We came across two bull elephants out on the plains & I saw an opportunity to try & take some interesting portraits using the trees on the horizon as a framing device. This was one of my favorite portraits of the morning with side lighting helping to illuminate one of Africa's greatest animal icons.
