Description: We came across this majestic male lion at sunset, as the wind blew on his mane he just sat posing for us as if he knew he was a star.

Story from behind the lens: To get this shot, our exceptional driver, Wilson, positioned us so that the lion was backlit with a distant hill in the background to create a dark background for the rim-lit lion mane to really stand out. It was an extraordinary sight to see and I hope this photo captures the magnitude of the moment.
