Description: A cheetah cub nestled against its Mother on a rainy day seeking warmth and comfort.

Story from behind the lens: I took this image during a downpour from a doors-off safari vehicle. The rain was relentless and this Mom and her cub were drenched. The cub, who was older, nestled against Mom. Without a second of hesitation, Mom started to lick the cub in part to dry off the water, a hopeless task, and in part bonding for reassurance. My low angle allowed me to capture the moment at eye level.
