Story from behind the lens: We came across a pride of lions with many cubs near a small stream and many were drinking or dozing and the cubs were playing. But, there was this one female sitting by herself on the top of a small rise. The sky was washed out and the background contained a single tree. She seemed to be taking a moment of silence away from her family. She was magnificent in her stillness.
