Story from behind the lens: At dusk, I found this mother lion walking out into the savannah with her cubs to find the freshly killed breakfast by the rest of the pride. The two playful cubs joshed constantly with each other along the way. This one jumped onto her mother affectionately, and her reaction resembled the way we react when getting a kiss planted on us from a loved one. The morning side light helps us tell this story of love that the Lions tell so well with their interactions.
